Daniel Craig might have created ripples on the silver screen with his portrayal of James Bond in Casino Royale, but he is building even more publicity for himself with his revolutionary statements. The latest from him is that he wants Bond to be gay in the next movie.
"Why not? I think in this day and age, fans would have accepted it. I mean, look at (British TV series) Doctor Who - that has had gay scenes in it and no one blinks an eye," Craig was quoted as saying. And its not only just a gay Bond, Craig is all in for full frontal nudity as well.
Craig has shot to fame with his breathtaking dark and gruesome potrayal of James Bond in Casion Royale. The very same fans who threatened to boycott Casino Royale when his name was announced, can't help but throng cinema halls and sing his praises aagain and again.
And Craig too has borne a lot during filing of the movie. He got his teeth knocked out during a fight scene, complained about having "prickly heat" and then revealed to producers that he'd be unable to drive Bond's signature car, the Aston Martin. But one watches the movie and all these things seem absolutely a thing of the past. Well thats what uou call a method actor!
