Christmas might actually be quite a celebration for Prince William. And why should it not be, for his girlfriend Kate Middleton has been sent a special invite to spend the day with the royal family. Rumours are that the two might get engaged the same day.
Prince William and Kate Middleton have been together for four years now after they met in St Andrews University in Scotland where Williams earned a master of arts degree in geography. If middleton accepts the invite it might be seen as an increasing acknowledgement of their relationship. 'She knows that it is a great honour to be asked and that William would never not be present at the Christmas lunch," a source was quoted as saying.
This has been the very first time that an unmarried partner has been invited to spend Christmas Day at Sandringham - the Queen’s private estate in eastern England where the royal family usually spend their winter break. Last year, Middleton was invited for Boxing day that falls a day after Christmas.
